Our people have always been at the forefront of our innovation, and our past achievements inspire our current world changers. The University employs over 11,000 staff and is in the midst of an ambitious capital programme.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Clinician to join our oncology team. This position might suit someone who has recently completed a rotating internship and who is looking for the next step towards specialization.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of an efficient and effective small animal oncology/radiotherapy referral service by providing clinical activity under supervision of our two ECVIM Diplomates, with a contribution to out-of-hours service provision.  Our oncology service offers all aspects of investigation, diagnosis and treatment of oncological and haematological disease in small animals and through radiotherapy provision forms part of the brain tumour and neuro-oncology centre.

Applications are invited from candidates with a veterinary degree registerable with RCVS who have completed a rotating internship or equivalent and have post-graduate clinical experience in small animal oncology.

Out-of-hours referral service support provision at weekends on a 1:4 basis.

This post is full time and fixed term for up to 1 year from agreed start date.
