ESVONC 2021

UPDATE 23 November 2020: new communication by the ESVONC Executive Committee 

Dear ESVONC members,

What a year for all of us and certainly a lot of time to think about our World and our future! We hope that you and your loved ones have been safe and that you continue to fight against cancer for our patients without too much trouble in your practice.

2021 is now approaching and more decisions have to be made. It is now clear that the ESVONC Congress will have to go virtual next year. Booking venues, flights, hotels so far in advance is just impossible for all of us at this stage. I am sure many of you have had a chance to attend one of the virtual meetings that took place this year. It is certainly not a model we wish to use permanently in the future (we would miss each other too much and go crazy!), but it was reassuring to see that the technology allows for such events to be real successes.

This is a work in progress but here are the highlights for ESVONC 2021 :

• Virtual ESVONC 2021 on 28th-29th May to minimise our impact on your practice
  
• Pre-recorded Keynote lectures and Abstracts to optimise image/sound quality
  
• Separate Seminar rooms to optimise your time
  
• Live Q/A sessions on the dates of the Congress after Keynotes and Abstracts
  
• Live AGM
  
• All videos available for few months
  
• Abstracts:
  
  • Accepted and Eligible Abstracts from 2020 maintained (you should have received an email),
    
  • New Abstract submissions from 1st Dec 2020 to 31st January 2021 (check the Abstract Submission page)
    
  • Posters presented as 2-3 minutes presentation videos
    
  • Prizes/Awards
    
• Hall for our (amazing) Sponsors

Please note that the membership fee for 2021 will be reduced to 90 euros. This takes into account our reduced expenses for the moment.
